Atys Date Displayer

2009-06-09 : patch 1.5.0 removed all useful info from log.log/client.log files. Atys Date display is broken. Ingame Date/Time is shown on ingame map now and countdown is on lot of websites already so that info is available in other means. For XP and resources, pointing log file to Ryzom/save/log_player.txt should work with default events file rules (tip: keep the log file small or it takes forever to load ;-(

Little java program that monitors Ryzom log file and displays (hopefuly) correct atys date/time.
Get it from here (ryzon.jnlp) with java webstart or zip file from here.

Right click to open popup menu.
Press and hold left button to drag it around.

To launch it second time without visiting this page...
on windows - run Java Webstart (run: javaws), right click on right program and "Install Shortcuts".
on linux - running javaws works. Also you could download ryzom.jnlp file (Right click "Save ..") and make shortcut "javaws ryzom.jnlp" to run it.
atysdate.zip - run "java -jar ryzom.jar" in folder where you unpacked zip

You can get java from here http://java.com/java/download/index.jsp.

2007-09-10 - Info window can be set to "always on-top" in config dialog now. Lot of other internal non-visible changes (hopefully didnt break anything).
2007-05-04 - Crafting fail/partial/success counters are added. this is bit buggy if you reading old log file, but monitoring live log for one crafting session (no xp in other skill in that time) should works just fine.
Also, all log file events are in english.evt file. If you translate it, then copy it to ryzom.jar directory and rename it to user.evt (for now, will make it more user fiendly in future) You can now show custom events file under setup. Also updated english.evt with casino events.
note: event file parser i got from Juc java mtp-chat client.

2007-02-10 - if you running linux and Ryzom gets confused about timezone its in (my case GMT, dunno why), you can tick checkbox in config so program uses system time for last server tick sync.
Also.. after exiting config, it does not scan (same) log file again. To wipe stat tables (so new log file starts from fresh), you need to restart program.

2007-02-01 - not that anybody cares, but it crashed when it didnt find conf file. it should be now.

2006-10-28 - It seems that server is having a bit of lag. while not visible to eye and has no effect on gameplay, keeping out of game time in sync with in-game time is impossible.
Teleporting seems to be resyncing it every time, also lowely chat command "/sleep 5" takes care of it (5 as in 5sec). changing "Far clip" in "Configuration/Graphics/Landscape" higher than you previously had (from min to max for example), resyncs it too.

have fun whatever you do
